Healthy Weight Management
It’s hard to believe, but about half the U.S. population has a problematic or a “disordered” relationship with food, their body and/or exercise. Most know that carrying excess weight can lead to heart disease, stroke and diabetes. But weight gain can contribute to everything from sleep apnea and infertility to cancer and arthritis.
People have all kinds of attitudes, practices and relationships with food. I help my clients re-establish a normal and healthy relationship with food, attitudes about their body and exercise. Successful weight loss depends on becoming more aware of your behaviors and starting to change them.
